The location has been used for Rosamunde Pilcher's The Shell Seekers with Vanessa Redgrave and Maximillian Schell and more recently for Barton Cottage in the BBC adaptation of Sense and Sensibility by Andrew Davies starring Dan Stevens, Dominic Cooper, David Morrissey, Janet McTeer and Charity Wakefield. The nearby coastal path scenery in stunning.
