Gopher Tortoise strolls the beach in Florida. These turtles live in burrows that they dig in the sand. They are a protected species that inhabit sandy scrubby areas and sometimes live in the dunes behind the beach.
About Bradford Martin
Bradford Martin is a nature and travel photographer with an emphasis on maritime and wildlife images. His artistic editorial images are inspired by the photographers of National Geographic and other nature and travel magazines. With a strong graphic style, the photos grab attention and make a connection to the subject as well as inform and inspire.
