A Delta IV rocket takes off through the clouds from Cape Canaveral, FL. The payload is a GPS II SV02 "Magellan" satellite. This is the last Delta "single stick" rocket launch. The single engine on the main rocket is visible and the 2 boosters are putting out a double plume. This is called a Delta IV medium rocket. Originally a Boeing design, this was built by United Launch Alliance in Alabama and launched from Cape Canaveral Complex 37 on August 22, 2019.
