Artist's Description

A Delta IV rocket heads into the sky.. The payload is a GPS II SV02 "Magellan" satellite. This is the last Delta "single stick" rocket launch.The single engine on the main rocket is visible and the 2 boosters are putting out a double plume. This is called a Delta IV medium rocket. Originally a Boeing design, this was built by United Launch Alliance in Alabama and launched from Cape Canaveral Complex 37on August 22, 2019.
